About

Our Why

We live to inspire people to be Too Good on and off the tennis court. Kids learning the sport. Weekend warriors who are unnaturally obsessed with the game. Pros who need to be reminded how fun it can be. We live to inspire any and all tennis players.

Why? Because tennis parallels life. It serves you a life lesson point after point, game after game, set after set, match after match. It’s fun. It’s hard. It’s physical. It’s mental. It makes you happy. And it makes you mental.

When you hit a winner, you feel like a king. When you’re feeling yourself too much, it puts you on notice. It teaches you perspective. It teaches you patience. It teaches you perseverance. It’s you against them, but first it’s you against you.

And we’re all about helping inspire the best version of you on and off the court. So we try to share fun and motivational sayings and make cool gear that will do just that.

Spread The Love

Inspiring younger generations to fall in love with tennis is especially important to us, and we think the passion of players everywhere can be put to good use.

That’s why we’re donating $2 from every t-shirt purchase to organizations like the USTA Foundation that inspire underprivileged kids by teaching them the love of tennis.

It’s such a great game to promote personal growth, and learning the game and the life lessons that come along with it can be a gamechanger for kids everywhere.

The Name

“That’s just too good.” The glorious sound of that phrase coming from the other side of the net means you’ve just achieved sweetness. A shot that couldn’t be defended. An effort that couldn’t be matched. It’s what every tennis player strives for.

That epic winner, that frustrating consistency, that unflappable calm in the middle of a storm, that relentless effort that gets opponents shaking their heads in disbelief and pointing that congratulatory racquet clap in your direction. More important than winning the match, you just won their admiration. You were Too Good.

Too Good to get frustrated. Too Good to give up, give in or give an inch. Too Good to be a punk or a poor sport. Too Good to be negative when things aren’t going your way. Too Good to be bothered by things you can’t control.

We love that pursuit of perfection. It’s futile. And it’s frustrating. But it’s also fun and fulfilling. The pursuit is what makes you Too Good, not the perfection. Striving to get better and better, to keep learning and growing. That makes you Too Good. In tennis and in life.

We named this company Too Good to inspire good on and off the court. And if we can do that with motivational sayings and fun ideas that makes people think, and with cool gear that makes people say, “Oh, that’s Too Good,” we’re happy, because they’re inspired. And that’s the name of the game.
